The Torrington Development Corporation (TDC) was formed in 2004 as an independent, non-profit organization charged with coordinating the revitalization of Downtown Torrington.
Our Mission Statement:
The TDC will plan, lead, direct, and coordinate comprehensive efforts to improve the City’s economic base. The purchase, reclamation, and development of property and the procurement and administration of funding and/or loans will be carefully managed to support a vibrant community.

The TDC Board of Directors meets regularly on the first Tuesday of the month at 8 AM in the TDC Office. All meetings are open to the public.
Per our by-laws, the Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 2nd.
Meetings take place at 40 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Suite 8. If requested, meetings may be held in an alternate location to accommodate the elderly or handicapped. Please call 860-482-6077 or email Bill Baxter baxter@torringtondevelopment.org to make a request.
