TDC Unanimously Supports City Hall Renovation Plan

December 4, 2007 – Following a presentation by the Municipal Renovations Committee, the Torrington Development Corporation (TDC) Board of Directors unanimously voted to endorse the City Hall Renovation Plan.

City Hall is a cornerstone of Torrington’s Main Street and is an important component to revitalizing the Downtown district. The current plan brings the aging property up to code, provides much needed office and meeting space while maintaining the historical integrity of the building.

The TDC believes investment by the City is critical to encourage state and private participation in the revitalization of our downtown.

Torrington residents and property owners are encouraged to vote "Yes" on Thursday, December 13th. Polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM at City Hall. Information and floor plans are available by clicking here.
